I agree with Blake on naming dogs people names. I have had Stonewall Jackson, Lexington, Scarlett and Rhett, Braeden and Brogan, Grayson and Skylar, Skyela and Dirk, Baylee, Breanna, and Chaucer. With the exception of Lexington, Breanna, and Chaucer they were all little poodles, most being rescues that found their forever home with us. I met Blake once when he was starting out in music. He came to Colorado Springs to play while people stood in line meet him. My husband, married daughter and her husband were all together. I feel very self conscious doing things like that so I stayed at our table. I look up and here is Blake standing next to me. He put his arm around my shoulder and said, you didn’t want to come over and meet me? The whole place was ❤ watching him and my reaction. We talked for a few minutes and then he went back to sing some songs. Austin had just come out and we really enjoyed listening to Blake sing it. At that point Blake seemed young and innocent. Very nice person.

I had Marty on my radio show several years ago. He talked about the beginning of the band and different songs but at the end he spoke about his faith in Jesus. When the show was over ,I put down my headset and cried. Marty was real and when he got finished talking about Jesus, I knew He was real.

I had the opportunity to meet and have a short one : one with Marty in Kalispell that included a short prayer that meant soo much to me. Thank you Marty!
